Steps for the Application
You will need the following documents to complete the online application form for the USC Computer Science REU site for Summer 2008 (June 2, 2008 - August 8, 2008). Applications are due by March 31, 2008 however we encourage early applications since decisions will be made as completed applications are received.

1. A one-page statement of research interest (PDF format)

2. A resume with information about relevant coursework, programming experience, projects, awards, and any prior REU experience (PDF format)

3. The names and email addresses of three people who will serve as academic references. We would prefer that these are professors who have taught you or with whom you have worked with on research projects. Note that you only provide us the names and email addresses, not the actual letters of reference.

4. An electronic copy of your latest college transcript (an unofficial one is fine).

Proceed to apply for the Summer 2008 program of the USC Computer Science REU.
